Where do you start when you need a mortgage? Mortgages are offered by Banks and Building Societies and some specialist lenders and obviously if you wanted to contact them all individually they would be happy to tell you what they could offer you. But imagine how many you would have to contact to get a true picture of who would offer the best mortgage deal. You could also use a comparison website but how do you know if you fit the lenders criteria, or, if they will lend you enough or even if that deal at the top of the table is right for you.

We believe there is no replacement for a one to one conversation with a qualified expert who can answer every question you want to ask and advise whether the lender will accept you.

How is it free?

There are very few things in life that are free but our service is genuinely one of them. We are totally committed to not charging our customers a fee for any of our services.  Many brokers will claim they offer free mortgage advice but they will charge a fee if you accept their advice or may charge you a fee for processing your mortgage. We do not charge you anything, ever.

The lenders pay brokers a fee for arranging clients mortgages with them called a procuration fee.  Some mortgage brokers will take the fee from the lender and charge you as well. We are happy for just the lender to pay us so you do not have to.

  • Taking your first step on the property ladder can be a daunting experience. There are so many decisions to make and lots of information that you need before you will be able to start making these decisions. Do I need a deposit? How much can I borrow? What will my monthly payments be? How much will a solicitor cost? What sort of mortgage is best for me? All these questions and more may be springing to mind. We aim to guide you through the mortgage maze and help you move into your first home smoothly and easily, making well informed decisions along the way.

We can give all the help and assistance you need, from clarification of all the costs involved, finding a solicitor, calculating your maximum borrowing capacity through to finding the best mortgage deal and completing all the paperwork for you.

  • Your current mortgage deal is about to expire and you need to explore your options again. Staying with the same lender is not always the best option as they tend to reserve their best rates for new borrowers. You may have decided it’s time for that extension or a new kitchen and want to explore the option of additional borrowing. Whatever your situation, we will work to find the best option for you.
